4.0

How come everybody says these days * i run 4.0 i cant cheat* ... Obvs. 85% of actual Renplayers are blat. false informed as in 4.0 is cheat safe :/

althou he is a he has a point when RR came out servers force it and everyone saying I dont cheat I have RR .
but we know it got cracked with in a month or so . no 4.0 has been years in the makeing and had lots of peeps and coders in on working on it . no doubt the code is out there some where so who is to say it also is not cracked ?

on a side not I have noticed some guys who was great snipes get crap now with 4.0 and as for the lag it now cause me in game to say I now have fibre optic at 35mbps my game was better when I was on 3.44 at 2 mbps adsl

This was a serious Question, i for myself know for 101% that there are Programs which still work and where 4.0 has no effect on. Im not talking bout the regular Cheats such as RGH or BigHead. I will also not announce what kind of Programs im talking of, but ser. it gives the Players and the Mods a false Feeling of beeing safety rite now. I also dislike the fact that most of the Communities lately tell their Mods that they dont have to look for cheats anymore as *CHEATS DONT WORK WITH 4.0* . This is like giving a Free-Ticket to those out there who also know same as me that Cheats still work with 4.0. My intention to speak this out is not to cause any worries but to keep the Mods alerted to watch out for suspicious things just as Mods did their Job in the Past.

please open your mouth and say what cheats works whit TT so the mods can know what to look.

Theres people you can report to what cheats they are in renforums so they can be fixed..

They cant fix it,its not like theres a Bug in 4.0 or something,those Things im talking of have nothing to do with the Scripts or anything related to it. They def. cant block it.

I may be wrong but I dont see why third party programs (bar RGH) wouldnt work against 4.0 afterall the code cant outwit EVERY last thing, even though the code can be altered I highly doubt a cheater will inform the coders..

To sum it up >> IMO << Renegade will always have cheaters no matter what.

from what I have seen it picks up on things that are not part of the priginal game . as it ask you to remove thim if it do.s at start of game .

I just thought also how do,s eike know this as he refused to use 4.0

du to the mass of advantage skins he has lol [you seen his videos totaly over mod game and loads of adv skins.

can I ask eike have you tested you thoughts on 4.0 are you now useing 4.0 ?

I have been part of a Test on a Private Server,i havnt installed 4.0 nor tested it out in any Way rite now,the 2 PPL who have been with me on the Server have been in my House with their Laptops set up with Ren + 4.0 and the Program im talking of,and it worked. My Skins arent the main Reason y i havnt used 4.0 yet, im A. to lazy to redo everything,its still working fine,why would i redo it. B. My Hud works great and i wont get rid of it.

you are aware that it has to be set up both server and player .... maybe you should publish this or make a fraps

wow 4.0 strikes again a new update now takes ages to join and when it do,s I have no keyboard or mouse control can not move at all

just tried again and still same starts game but nothing on keyboard works and mouse no work also .

Client and Server was both running 4.0, so yes im aware of that.

After the Update u have to reenter every1 of ur Key Commands in Options as they were deleted due to the Update.

that sounds simple but not possible as none of the keys on keyboard work now in the game totaly nothing not even esc to get out of game also the mouse no work at all ...

i didnt have a issue installin 4.0 was easy...

yeah the self installer is simpls but it some how removed all keyboard control values..

sorted it now just reset to defult and re asign

never had that problem it was just an update for me. my buttons werent even reset to default.
